What is Bobcat On Demand? Hopefully our name is self-explanatory enough; but if not here's a quick explanation: We supply bobcats (compact loaders), as you need them; on demand. We stock bobcats in a full range - from the larger sized models (at 6 feet wide, down to the tiny, and capable of lifting a tonne or more), but effective 3-foot wide versions that can go almost anywhere. And because these machines as compact, they can fit into many areas that larger excavators cannot. This allows the machine to have great maneuverability - it can literally spin on a dime. The machines do not have steering like a car's, rather they turn by skidding their wheels. What is a bobcat? For the benefit of those not in the construction industry, we offer this brief explanation: Bobcat is the commonly used name to describe the popular all-wheel drive loaders (more technically called skid steers) which are seen on jobsites all over.
